Idina just confirmed her first UK show! She'll be playing a special, intimate concert on May 20th at The Ambassadors Theatre in London. Tickets go on sale Friday May 2nd. For more info and to purchase tickets online click here.

Omg idina please do more uk concerts. You should do a tour! So many people would buy tickets!!! Pleeeease do more I cant see this show as I spent all my money on seeing you in chess yesterday. It was the most worthwhile 4 hours of my life! I can't wait for my next opportunity to see you again you were amazing and such an inspiration! Xxxxxxxxxx

oh Idina pleaase!! add some more dates!! i really couldnt get any tickets! i was gutted. but now i could, so im really hoping she adds more due to popular demand, they sold out soo fast! she has to know how much we love her! ive had such a bad year this could reli turn things round!

Finding it hard, but I hyave my resources and all being well I sholud see her in London 3 times;
At her Chess performance,
At the Cd signing,
and at this concert.

Hope the CD's aren't at ridiculous prices, I'm almost broke.

I do have "a" CD, but it was a promotional one that included a short film about her. The CD contained 5 of the 10 songs on the album;
I stand, Where do I begin, Brave, Gorgeous and Better to have loved.

I can't wait.

Ireland is really cool. I went there over the summer but I live in Connecticut. Too bad you can't go see Idina. That really stinks. :(

Piano

Ok, so I have a piano recital today at 3:30. I am really nervous. I am playing Defying Gravity. My friend, BroadwayQueenNYC, told me to imagine Idina at the recital and singing along...but now i'm just MORE nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IDINA, you are my inspiration. I love to play pieces by you and wish that someday I can hear you sing them live.

think of it.

the thing is, you know if idina was there, there would be nothing to be nervous about. you've seen her in all of those youtube videos. you know she's a completely warm, thoughtful sweetheart. her presence would just make you feel at home. she wouldn't be judgmental and she would be SO EXCITED to hear you play one of her songs! really, just think of having her there and her just cheering you on!!

i play piano, also. i know how it is before recitals. your palms get all sweaty and your fingers feel like jell-o. just play it for yourself. that will convey to everyone else how much you believe in it!

How the piano recital went...

Okay, so when it was finally my turn to go up and play Defying Gravity, my hands were all shakey and my legs felt like Jell-o, which didn't help since I had to use the pedals! The song had like ten pages so my piano teacher had to take some away once I had finished the notes. But since the last grouping of sheets was really long, I messed up the eneding a bit because I couldn't see all of it! The whole time I actually had Dee's voice singing along with me, to the point where I was on the verge of singing myself! Funny thing was, one of the other players played What Is This Feeling! But it was too slow and I kept saying to myself, "Come on, speed it up." All in all, it was really fun! Next year, I might play something from Rent (like Take Me or Leave Me) or if Warner Borther's makes and easy piano book of the whole CD, I Stand!!!!!

Tonight!

I got tickets this morning - Row M Stalls.. I didn't get why the Dress circle was £25 and Stalls £20?!?

Anyway, I went to see Jersey Boys tonight and who was behind me at the box office?! Idina and Taye!!!

Asked for a photo too haha, can't wait to see her again! She looks stunning tonight and they were both so lovely!

I've managed to get tickets.

I'm seated: Dress, Row E, Seats 4-5

It's going to be an amazing show, I'm sure. I saw Idina many times in 'Wicked' and was lucky enough to attend the opening night at the Apollo Victoria.

This will be a dream come true to see her preform her own songs in the flesh. I'm also attending the album signing to meet the legand that is our very much loved Idina.

I can't wait, see you there guys!!
