defying gravity...

ok a few days ago i had to do my SATs (evil evil tests!!!) and anyway i was doing my English exams and the words defying gravity popped up in the text and i started singing the song in my head then i realised i only had like 5 more mins till the end of the time to read the booklet so i was like "shoot!!! must get song out of head!!!"
i just wanted to share that with you all. = ))

Also does anyone know if the video's will go onto any websites that the UK can watch the video's???

I just watched those videos and i must say...one again....brava, idina, for being such a talented and inspiring person. geez......could she be any more phenomonal????

Idina menzel is amaze-ingg.

hey there. okay so today at school we were watching the movie RV and i kept looking at the mom of that family, you know the one they dont like, and i was like wow. she looks SO familiar. so i was like guys who is that cute blonde girl?? and everyone was like i dont know. so i kept thinking and i kept thinking and all of a sudden it clicked. i like jumped up and i was like THATS KRISTEN CHENOWETH!!! and then i got yelled at. but any ways so i waited till the end and her name poped up there. and i was like there she is there she is. and everyone was like WHO?? so then i explained to all of them all about wicked and kristen and OF COURSE the beautiful ammazing idina. yep. thought i would share that with ya!!! hahaha. thats sorta point less. oh well!

WICKED....... A MOVIE!!!

NOOO. the musical was stunning and beautiful and lovely and goregous and thrilling. but i would hate too see it as a movie. what you see on stage can not be captured on a film. i think the broadway show would be ruined. it is so beautiful that it just,, ugh. i just dont know how much i would like it. the real beauty is on stage. and i do hope it will stay there. idina should be elphaba if they do decide the movie is a good thing. but i just hope they dont. tell me what you think. i would love too know.

re wicked movie

I think its a good idea for the movie so that people who are unable to see it on stage like so many people i know can see the amazingness of the show. I had the opportunity to see it when i went to a competition in new york but other wise i don't really get to see things from broadway. i think the movie will have the same effect as rent did with the message. and i really hope they use the original cast or at least DEE and kristin. and i people keep saying she'll be to old but it seems to me that she looks younger and younger the more she gets older just look at her now compared to her rent broadway days and the movie.

I LOVE IDINA MENZEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WICKED ON STAGE ONLY!!

I dont know where this rumor is coming from that Wicked is going to become a move but i really doubt it will. If they were to make it a movie I am sure they would do what they did with rent, and bring back the original cast.
I am a big musical lover and this by far my favorite!!! I am actually about to head off to hollywood to see it tonight...
Not that I dont love the current cast, but I really want them to bring back Idina! I would give anything to see her on stage.

I saw rent in theaters

I saw rent in theaters before i saw it on stage and I dont like how the movie was so different.
I liked the movie better because the cast was better then what I saw on broadway. I think that if they bring back all the original cast the movie would be just fine.

If they did do a movie i doubt it would anytime soon... Idina is touring right now with her new CD and it is doing so well i Doubt she would stop to do a movie.

I bought it when it came out; unfortunately I could only find it online so I had to wait awhile. I really enjoyed it, it's a funny coming of age movie, that's for sure!

wellllll...

the movie is rated pg-13 and has a bit of mature content so i would be careful. I'm fifteen and it was okay but if you're twelve you should probably ask your parents or get them to watch it first for them to decide.

It's about time!

Now we know Idina is climbing up the entertainment ladder. AOL Sessions doesn't ask just anybody to perform in their studio. Congrats Idina! You're making your way to the top!

Having said that, the videos were in-freaking-credible! Her personality shines through any medium. Not many artists can do that. I was singing and grooving along with her to the point that my brother asked me what I was high on. I responded, "I'm high on Idina sucka!!!" Lame, I know. It was well worth it if you ask me! Keep up the fab work Ms. Menzel!!

INCREDIBLE!!!!!

I just watched all 4 of the songs in a row, plus the interviews... and all I have to say is... WOW!!!!! I really don't know what else to say! There just aren't words to express how impressed I was! Especially with Brave! That might have been the best I have heard it! She just nailed it during that performance! IT was awesome!!!!! :)

Ok this is a little off topic........................

Tonight I had a chorus and band concert, and before I left my house to go to the school I was listening to "My Own Worse Enemy." Well during the chorus part of the concert I don't know what I was thinking but I was day-dreaming and started singing "My Own Worse Enemy" because it was stuck in my head all day. My friend was like "thoes aren't the word to My Country 'Tis of Thee." I finally snapped out of it and got with the program!!:) I don't think anyone noticed.

kristin chenwoeth dressing room

last night i went to see a kristin chenwoeth concert and the sequrity guyard pretende we were "on the list" and i got to go backstage is kristins dressing room for 20 mintues!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH and kristin tlked about idina a little! AHHH IT WAS AMAING!

The kristin dressing room story

So what happened was I went to go see Kristins concert with the chicago symphonic orchestra. After the show i rly had to go to the bathroom so I ran downtsatirs. there was a ton of people down there and a bunch of orchestra people were coming out so i though mabey she will come out. So i waited with a few other people. before the security guard was trying to get rid of everyone, but all of sudden she said to me and like a few others "ok your on the list" (like that can go backstage so hse lied for us out of the kindnees of her heart =]) then directed us backstage and to Kristins dressing room. Kristin was like Hi everybody! and wer all talked and she signed autographa. She said how much she loved doing Wicked with Idina and how singing For Good with her realy summed up Kristins life. and it was so touching! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! xox-i thank God for this one! xox Defygravity9993 *hey mister KRISTINS my sister* lol I LOVE IDINA MENZEL!

Take this comment as a professional. That preformance wasn't what i expected it to be, IT WAS A WHOLE LOT BETTER!!! When you where singing brave i thought holy crap that was amazing even though it was just the first intro to the song. The gorgeous was next, i thought it was amazing. I stand was so cute when you were doing your little dance i thought it was soo cute that you were in your moment saying fuck it i can do whatever i want. And my own worst enemy was soo great. and im not lying through my teeth it was really great. there are too many things to describe, the band, your backup singers, your voice, and your clothes. oh my god, your clothes were so cute. by the way were your shoes from prada? and i can't wait for you to get back on the stage and when you do tour please stop here in canada aka VANCOUVER!!

You sound awesome as always, Gorgeous is one of my favorite songs on the cd I love the beat, it just makes me happy!!!
"My own worst enemy" I just love how you crescendo from your low notes into high notes!!!:) Your range is amazing.
I also love seeing the emotion on your face, and the energy you bring through the songs!!!
