Idina & the Cast of Rent on the Tony Awards!

Idina and the original, principle cast of RENT is set to join the show's current company to celebrate the the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical's lengthy run, which ends Sept. 7 at the Nederlander Theatre. The very special performance will air on the 62nd Annual Tony Awards to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary. CBS will broadcast the event live from Radio City Music Hall on June 15th at 8:00 - 11:00 PM ET. Check your local listings for more info.

The Tony's

I didn't think they spent enough time on the RENT segment. They should of had a video montage of Jonathan Larson and the OBC. Idina was so cute and I loved to see Taye blush (and his lil bow tie). Did anyone notice that the sound was not up to par? My daughter was bawling when it was over and she had me teary eyed too.

You Did Amazing!

Hi Idina just saw you on the Tony's and you did awesome. You looked amazing as did your husband. The whole crowed cheered when you came on the screen and the comment about how Rent changed your life as you looked at Taye was adorable. Again you did great. -Meaghan

I loved when....

I loved how she said how Rent changed their lives. I think Taye got a little flushed... ^_^ That was just so cute! The only bad was that they barely really did anything of a montage for Rent, though. =/

OMG Idina looked soo cute and happy!!!!!! i totally spazzed out when she said, "and it changed our lives" [meaning her and Taye's i loveed how everyone cheared for her the loudest! OMG I <3 RENT AND I'M GUNNA MISS IT ON BROADWAY :(

cooking

okay, so, for our Spanish party tomorrow, I had to make cookies and I am soooooo bad at anything cooking, unless it involves a microwave!
My parents kept trying to help me and I was like, I'm so bad at this! They told me, well you've gotta learn. and I said, You don't have to know how to cook and can still be successful, of course I had Idina in mind when I said that!
all i could think of was The Tollbooth, when the father, Issac, brings Raquel to see Becky (my name! ha ha! dee said it!) and Sarabeth. Raquel had made cookies and brought them along with her. I just started cracking up, after all, we all know that Dee cannot cook!

can't wait for the tonys tonight and to watch the regis and kelly after school on my birthday, june 17th!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Idina was in the news paper!!

In the USA today idina got her picture in the paper and she talked about I Stand. its really cute. i think its on page 3D. ah its such a cute picture to. well check it out.

I was wondering if any one knew where i could order Dee's HERE cd. I looked at Amazon.com and they are out. I can't seem to find it anywhere and the one I had got lost with many of my other cd's when i moved so i really want to replace it.

Hi, Ashley_rs2001. After having a terrible experience trying to buy this cd from amazon.com (a six week wait turned into five months), I found Idina's Here cd through the Broadway Cares website. I'm not sure if they still have it (I got mine a year or so ago), but it's definitely worth a look. I hope this helps! Good luck :)
