Idina in Nero July 11th - 13th

Idina will headline the Powerhouse Theatre reading of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's musical Nero. Performing along side her is Taboo's Jeffrey Carlson and Spring Awakening veteran Lea Michele. For more information and to purchase tickets visit powerhouse.vassar.edu.

Idina in Nero

I am fortunate enough that I live in the Poughkeepsie area and was able to score tickets to see Nero at Vassar College this weekend. It was unlike anything I've ever seen, it was a staged reading in a somewhat small, intimate theatre. The plot was Greco-Roman tragedy meets Shakespeare meets musical theater. Idina (and the rest of the cast) did an awesome job, the music was great! It was just really cool to see a work in progress like that. I will have to go see the finished product if it ever gets to Broadway.

Laura Bell Bundy & Paul Cannon

hey. i know this is SUPER off topic and im very sorry about that but i thought i would post this because this could be alot of fun. okay so Laura Bell and Paul (from Legally Blonde The Musical) are holding Workshops for people who would like to learn what its like to be on broadway. you get to work with them in groups of 20 and perform in groups for your other cassmates. check out the site http://takeitfromthetop.org/index.htm they are only holding workshops in Southern California and Kentucky. but if you do go to this there is Q&A time and you may be able to find out about the super amazing idina menzel. just a thought. :]

yay idina.

good for idina. back on the stage. yeah today there is an article iin the USA Today about idina with a very pretty picture next to it. check it out. its all about her tour. she has gotten a whole lot of poblicity (how do you spell that!!!) from it. in this one part of the article she answers a question thats asking her if she is healthy on the road and she said 'No drinking and no smoking.' does that mean she smokes when she isnt on the road?? not that i have anything against that at all. i mean i LOVE idina. i do i do i do. i was just wondering. well i am DYING to see idina. 16 days!! wahoo!!!!!! I CANT WAIT!!
